Cookie policy

Zante Sunny Villas uses a few cookies that the site needs to work. With your permission, it also uses cookies from Google and Meta (Facebook) to see how the site is used and whether our adverts work. Those are only set if you agree in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Essential cookies

These are always on, because the site can't work without them.

• zante-sunny-villas-session: keeps track of your visit, for example while you choose dates and book. It expires after two hours without use.
• XSRF-TOKEN: protects the forms on the site from being misused by other websites. It expires with your session.
• cookie_consent: remembers what you chose in the cookie banner, so we don't ask on every page. It expires after six months, and then we ask again.

If you sign in to manage a villa, a "remember me" cookie may also be set so you stay signed in.

Analytics cookies (only if you agree)

We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are used and how people find the site, for example from a search or an advert. Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga, which last up to two years.

When you book, we tell Google Analytics the villa, dates, number of guests and price, but never your name, email address or other contact details.

Marketing cookies (only if you agree)

We use the Meta pixel (from Facebook) and Google's advertising tags to see whether our adverts on Facebook, Instagram and Google lead to bookings, and to show our adverts to people who have visited the site. They set cookies such as _fbp and _fbc (Meta) and _gcl_au (Google), which last up to three months.

Cookies set by other services

• Stripe sets cookies when the payment form loads, to process your payment securely and to prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com.
• Google Maps: villa maps only load when you choose to show them. Google may then set its own cookies. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com.

Controlling cookies

Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change what you agreed to. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookies above, you won't be able to book.
